The VITAL AFFAIR Castor Oil Organic is isn’t too thick or sticky and the scent is mild. The bottle was packaged well in bubble wrap and sturdy cardboard box. The bottle is larger at 8.0 oz and came with a pump which makes it more convenient to dispense and not get oil all over the bottle. The VITAL AFFAIR Castor Oil Organic at 8 oz. is a better price per ounce. It moisturizes fine.

I really like this organic castor oil, it seems a little thicker than others I have tried and it is unscented. I use it with my wrap and have found it helps my mid section purge inflammation. After I ran out I started using this oil and have tried it also on my hands and heels bc they are more dry in the winter months. It absorbs well into my skin. Even after washing my hands it creates a nice barrier of moisturizing components. I also tried using this oil for hair not just skin and I have noticed less hair falling out. I am thrilled it comes with a pump and a long straw inside so when i get to the bottom it will pump out every last bit so I can dispense oil easily onto my belts for my abdominal area etc and don't have to use a dropper or pour slowly. It has made a difference in my crackly heels as well. A little goes a long way.

I love this natural moisturizer for dry skin.it is 100 % pure castor oil.you just put a dab on your finger and put it on your eyelashes and in a couple of weeks your eyelashes will be very long.it gave my skin a beautiful glow and felt very moisturizing in the winter colder month.i use this as a part of my hot oil conditioning routine and love it.

I'd never used Castor Oil before. I've been Extremely Pleased !!I use it on my face to fight off the crows and my neck to fightoff the turkey's!! Not anything fowl about my review!! ;)But Seriously, I'm Very pleased with this purchase!!Oh, I almost forgot, I no longer use hair gel! Just a dab of this oil mix with water and holds my hair in place with now flakey reside gel can cause!

This is definitely 100% pure castor oil. It comes in a nice glass bottle, and you get 8 fl oz. It comes with a pump to make it easier to measure out certain amounts for different purposes. I got this particular castor oil because I saw online that you should look for castor oil that is organic, extra virgin, hexane-free, and 100% pure cold-pressed, in a glass bottle. This castor oil satisfies all those requirements. Considering the quality of the castor oil, the price is very reasonable!

This product appears to be of good quality. It smells exactly how I expected it too, goes on thick, and appears to absorb well. This makes me very happy. Especially when you consider it is certified organic! I also appreciate that it comes in a dark glass bottle to keep chemicals from leaching into the product and that's exactly why I'm not going to be using the pump. I prefer the bottles that come with an eye dropper that's made of glass too. I mean, why introduce something plastic after going to all of the trouble to put certified organic products in a glass bottle?Anyway, overall this appears to be a wonderful product, but I recommend you get the larger 16 ounce bottle because it comes at a better price point. This 8 ounce bottle was about $2.50 per ounce when I ordered it, but the 16 ounce bottle is selling for only about $1.69 per ounce. The amazing thing is that price is cheaper than a lot of the non-organic brands!I do recommend this product and I would definitely order it again in the larger size.

This is the first castor oil I've tried and I'm very happy with it. I feel like it's high quality and checks all the boxes of what I was looking for. This castor oil is made in the USA, organic and cold pressed, and comes in a tinted glass bottle to help protect it from degrading or leeching plastic chemicals. I also like the included pump so it's easy to use.I use this castor oil mainly for moisturizing dry skin directly after my shower and it works fabulously. I've also used it on my eyelashes to help them grow longer, and sometimes use it for castor oil packs. The oil is very moisturizing and effective for all these uses and I will definitely order it again. I think it's very affordable for the amount you get, so it's a great value for the money.

This product is very good to use for different things! My pump worked fine, although I see others had issues with theirs. It's on the thicker side, but it's oil so it is normal for it to be thick and take some time to fully absorb. Little goes a long way, and it makes you feel very moisturized!

Moisturizing - works as expected. It is really too bad previous reviewers provided low ratings for the pump issue. It is a challenge to undo it - see the video on the description - open it prior to putting it into the bottle.

it seems to work well I like the light texture of it. It has a little bit of a bad smell, but it goes away quickly.

The oil is clear in color but thick. The pump was broken, no way to fix it. I am trying it, I will see how it pans out. 4 starts because of the broken pump otherwise GREAT!

This is a great oil for aches and pains, works well. It's thick but can be a little messy especially without the handy dandy pump that wasn't included in my package.I will purchase again - and hopefully get a pump too.
